Video Journalist required to be very flexible and called upon to cover a variety of issues. Many stories require digging through financial records and filing information requests, but reports are always related to the viewer to coincide with community journalism brand. Multiple daily live shots from crime scenes and community events, with demand for new content at each hit. Heavy coordination with assignment desk and online content managers.
 
WSIL-TV (ABC) November 2009-April 2011
Multi-Media Journalist working closely with assignment desk enterprising stories for myself and other reporters due to close sources cultivated in the area. Daily live shots, post stories to web. Helped bring Sunday 10pm newscast from last to first place within one year through new approach to news coverage.
